it’s light brown, but I found a lot of these in the same area and most were much darker. Probably dried out, but i notice that this is likely a different amanita than other similar ones that I have found out here. The ones I thought were pantherina are clearly different than this one, mainly because the gills are visibly free from the stem and on this mushroom the gills are not so free. this one also has the scaly stem below the annulus.

What color would you say the cap is? The highlights are blown out, but your mushroom appears to be in section Amanita. Probably either in subsection Pantherinae or subsection Amanita, but tough for me to say.
