Found in a mixed coniferous forest with lots of pines. Veil fragments hanging from pileus. Small firmly attached warts.

How about Amanita smithiana?

With the limited view of the cap it is difficult to offer an id, but even so, based on the location and overall appearance, Amanita smithiana came to mind initially.
