Notes:
Identifying feature for this Cladonia has got to be the tiny red and black dots at the tips of podentia. Look closely! Both colors are present, although black seems to be slightly more common to me. I took a collection of this for future reference, since the podentia were so striking.

Most of the scales are on the “inner” side of the fronds, versus the outer side. I didn’t notice that part before.
