I suppose this one is The Thing, being scaly and all. Which three species are the Invisible Girl, the Fungal Torch, and Mr. Fantastic then? :-)

(As for someone eating an Amanita bisporigera confused with this species, there’s foolproof and then there’s idiot-proof. :-) It’s also worth noting that the deadly white Amanitas are sometimes known as Fool’s Mushrooms.)

except for the guy in NH who mistook a bisporigera for a shaggy mane…
