Observation 13463: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

When: 2008-11-01

Collection location: near Cape Lookout, Tillamook Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)

No specimen available

Growing in very thick moss and lichens was this tiny-capped mushroom that I’m tentatively calling a Mycena. Cap is less than 1/4 inch wide, and perhaps 2.5 inches tall. Tuft of mycelium at base of stipe.
