Main fronds are circular in cross-section. Observed on Lodgepole pine bark near entrance to Cape Lookout State Park. Smaller branches are almost always at 90 degree angles to major branches, which are mostly erect to somewhat pendant. Small white scales visible on the main branches, but not side branches.
