arvensis smell is pleasant and quite strong, too.

no question that you have an agaricus (free, dark gills and spores, growth in grass, partial veil).

arvensis will stain and remain yellow. still don’t think that is what you have.

Dark brown to blackish spore print,free gills, found in grass in old pasture,smell not strong, have found several in same area this year taste pleasant,

arvensis should show yellow staining.

habitat? odor? this may well be an edible agaricus, i just don’t believe it to be arvensis.
