Collection location: White Clay Creek State Park, Newark, Delaware, USA [Click for map]
Who: Zach (heyzach)
Found in abundance in mature forest areas on east side of White Clay Creek (look for big elevation variations — forest less likely to have been chopped down in the past here). C. cibarius is a mycorrhizal mushroom, and I often find them at this location under beeches and oaks. Often among mosses.
