Found in my neighbor’s recently bark-mulched front yard. She just pulled a large group of Armillaria yesterday from near this area, and these two specimens had just come up overnight. I didn’t notice any annulus on the stipe, so this may be A. tabescens. But I didn’t look very closely, either. She has a guard dog which has already bitten me once, and tried to bite me a second time.
