Just before Jim Peich spotted boletes subvelutipes. I put it in my basket when I got excited about Jim’s find and forgot about it until I got home.

Phil, I don’t recall seeing this one at the club foray.

Looks like you’ve nailed the ID. I have found this type on my property a couple times.
