Particularly early this year, have been eating them since mid-July, but they’re now getting big and juicy!

I’ve known the correct binomial for 35 years. Must be getting old-timers’ disease.
Do you mean Pseudostuga menziesii or is this a synonym? I searched around but couldn’t find any info on P. douglasii.
