Collection location: Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia [Click for map]
Who: Noah Siegel (Noah)
This neat fungus was covering a dead log in the Lamington rainforest. I think I got the name from An Introduction to Fungi on Wood in Queensland, by Ian Hood. (just browsing books at libraries in Australia) I can find very little info on it, just the NYBG Herbarium which has it listed as Cyphella longipes Cooke & Massee.
Dose anybody know anything about it?
