Observation 14549: Suillus Gray

When: 2008-11-23

Collection location: Larch Mountain, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)

No specimen available

Notes:
Found next to highway, already picked and upside-down. Cap extremely glutinous, thought I’d found a Gomphidius! Pores angular, largely radially arranged; STIPE: mostly gone, viscid, brittle; annulus present (reddish-brown ring), top of stipe yellow. Since stipe is mostly gone and fungus is supersaturated, hard to make an identification.
