Recognized by sight: found in mixed conifer forest ~3 miles from the coast
Used references: Mushrooms Demystified

Recognized by sight: Nice coral, but it looks too open and the branches are too long for R. rasilispora in my opinion. These yellow/orange Ramaria are really hard without a scope and challenging even if you have one. There’s a recently published book, Ramaria of the Pacific Northwestern United States by Exeter, Norvell and Cázares, which is definitely worth getting a hold of if you’re interested in Ramaria in the western US.
