Terrestrial, possibly growing from Engelmann spruce root; soft, nice smelling, top yellow-orange; pores white, does not stain when bruised. Also found one specimen growing on Engelmann spruce log.

While this appears to be a single mass,

it is actually composed of several leaf-like portions.
