Brick red cap. White cap flesh visible in cracks.
Tubes flesh colored, except where slightly descendant on stipe: yellow.
Stipe with gladules.
Veil remnant adherring to cap edge.
Cap flesh white, but slightly yellow near tubes.
Torn stipe shows some pinkish stains.

no Sugar pine nearby. Found under Mugo pine; Lodgepole pine about 30 feet distant.
