Observation 14654: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

Mushroom. CAP: .2-.75 inch across (.5-1.8cm), conical, pale orange; GILLS: knife-like, free, white with pale orange tint, often branching more and more the farther from the stipe; STIPE: 2.5 inches long (6-8cm), hollow, pale orange-yellow. No aroma noticed. Large non-joined fruitings of this fungus in Douglas fir needles.
