Buttons 2.5 inches tall, white, soil adherring.
Cortina still attached.
Sectioned sporocarp through the stipe. Gills slightly pink.

Recognized by sight: White cap, stains pink. Obs. is regarding 2 specimens, but ran into this all day. White tight buttons, with cortina. Cap, stipe flesh pink.

show a cortina. What species of Hygrophorus has a cortina? I looked in Arora, and found none.
