Bright yellow process develops from the primordium. It is differentiating into a basal swelling.
During the development of pilobolus a spherical primordium is formed and bright yellow process starts developing from the primordium.
This image shows the development of mycelium in pilobolus. The mycelium shows dark swollen thick hypha with dense protoplasm known as primordium.
