Cap: diameter 8 cm; maximum ht 2 cm
Tubes: length 6 mm; stain brown when bruised, staining does not fade quickly; slightly decurrent
Stem: height 5 cm; diameter 2 cm; distinct ring zone; solid (not hollow anywhere); quickly stains blue at places near base when cut , staining then fades
Taste and scent indistinct.
