Lactarius deterrimus that species is found under spruce, (the pictures here show pine,) and the latex changes to wine-red in 15-20 min, these picture may or may not have been taken that long after picking, also Lactarius deterriimus is supposed to be found in Europe but possibly not North America, (but of course these could have been picked in a different location then shown in the pics….i see pine needles in the Picture)
