This is a good set of photos of these. There was one brought in this past weekend in Mendocino, that was in good shape. Interesting that they are brought in each year on the Thanksgiving weekend, they’re are only brought in rarely on the FFSC weekend, one to two weeks later. Must be a fairly early season mushroom, or people pick them all out on the first weekend…
