Notes:
Found in disturbed riparian area with high water table, sandy/gravelly packed substrate. Cap up to 6 cm H x 5 cm W, whitish with brown shaggy scales, thin flesh. Gills crowded, free, broad, white in button. Stem 3 cm. × 15 mm.,white, hollow, with stringy strands in center, inferior ring. No distinctive odor or taste. Day time temps 70’s, high 30’s to low 40’s overnight. Elevation 3200. No precipitation for weeks.
