Notes:
Cap up to 4 cm., gray brown, scaly disc, wrinkly splitting margin, thin pallid flesh. Gills white in button then gray to black in maturity, free, close. Stem gray white, 3 cm. × 6-8 mm., hollow. No distinctive odor or taste. Inky black spore print. Growing in disturbed riparian area near stump.
