Notes:
I think one of the field marks for these is that the lamellae (gills) stick out from the pileus (cap) when fully grown, like you can see from the second photo, where the edges of the gills are wider than the cap face. Also like in the buttons, it has that nice deep wine-red color, like a good Sirah (hmm… that gives me an idea).
