I have hundreds of lichens documented, far more than I could possibly post from some internet cafe with hair-band internet… But this one was particularly cool, I thought. That’s a pad of nearly naked light green algae, through which the fungus has entwined a few hyphal strands, and then popped up a scattering of minute orange apothecia. Such a cool genus!
