Growing on hard ground with mostly manzanita nearby. Conditions dry.
Caps ~ 5.2 cm across.
Spores ~ 7.0-8.2 X 4.8-5.0 microns and slightly rough.

More interesting is that I found one or two more small species of Phaeocollybia close by that I will post later. This occurring under dry conditions with hardly any other mushrooms to be found!?!
