I’m very sorry to hear about your microscope problems. I hope you will be able to rectify the situation.

Thank you for your interest in my observations.
Unfortunately that time I did not collect any of these materials posted yesterday. Also, my microscope is defective and can not do microscopy.
Wishes for a happy New Year,

Very nice photographs.

I have looked at the observations that you posted today. The taxa are all interesting to me. I am in the process of arranging for DNA sequences for a large number of amanitas; and, in particular, for what I hope will be the largest and broadest collection of sequences from sect. Vaginatae.

All your new observations indicate that you don’t have voucher collections of the relevant material. In the future, I would be very interested in obtain collections of species of the Vaginatae that are documented by your photographs (and any notes on size, habitat, etc. that you may have time to make).

If you are interested, please contact me by email so that we can discuss the matter.

Very best,

P. S. Happy New Year
