Well, this collection was sandwiched between two layers of black tarp, with one tarp underneath and the other covering. Within the two tarps were fire-starter-sized wood pieces mixed with top soil and almost certainly plant fertilizer which is nitrogen-dominant. A short distance away was a young Doug Fir tree. That’s all I recall and can see combined.

Primordia of M. subcaerulea and M. amicta should have areas that are roughly sky blue at this age.
