have seen from several herbaria in eastern Mexico. If I’m right about this, it is distinct from A fallax, which is a second species of Amidella that I have seen in California and central to Western Mexico. The ranges of the two taxa overlap, and I have seen both on La Malinche in Tlaxcala.
