Mixed forest, conifer mostly fir and pine. Hardwoods maple and oak. Grey cap, convex, more or less smooth. Spre print white. Caps ca. 6" diameter, occurring singly.

taking into account the previous indentification’s

I’m going with the fact that the spore print is incorrect.

Entoloma abortivum is correct indentification.

Looks like E. abortivum.

But the spore print is reported as white.

Dr. Stobbs, what method did you use in order to observe the spore print color? Are you certain the color was not pink? Against a black background a thin pink print can appear quite pale.
