They’re all Campanella tristis! I mean, just look at the name of the journal where it was described; New Zealand Journal of Botany! Coincidence that that’s only 2,698 miles (4,342 kilometers) away from Tahiti? I think not!

I think it’s pretty clear that because there is a Campanella species described that close to Tahiti, and because this and Observation 162028 and Observation 162151 and Observation 228203 all look like Campanella, that they all must surely be the species with readily available pictures on the Internet. End of discussion. Expertise and moxie like this are really what MO is all about. Good work, Alain!
