These were somewhat in between the descriptions for A. pteridis and A. hygrometicus. The spore cases were about 3.5 cm across and the total width of the fruiting bodies were about 8-9 cm across. The spores were round and about 10.0-11.0 microns and heavily warted….the last feature seeming to tilt the id in favor of A. pteridis.
One of the specimens pictured could be a different species?(whiter spore case and smaller rays.)
