I’ve been swayed by Irene’s comment. Found in grass in mixed conifer forest <1 mile from coast; odor distictly but faintly sweet; cap is cream colored with a hint of buff. Upon storing the mushrooms for a few days the odor became more pronounced – like sweet anise.
