Is the first thing I thought of when I saw this, and it was on the side of some very old slashrot. Although, I almost never get to observe the red latex- darn dry Mycenas!

M. sanguinolenta could also be a possibility (I haven’t heard of M. sanguinia..) although, I didn’t grab a specimen for microscopy and differentiation from M. haematopus
