Found in the middle of the trail near pine and doug fir. No particular odor. Bounces when dropped on hard surface.

Sporocarp peridium varies widely in thickness and staining. Hope you can get mycoscopy of this. I do not recognize the creamy peridium. At Salt Point State Park I would assume sand to be a predominant soil medium, but your specimens seems to have mud and/or silty soils plated on them too.
