Recognized by sight: Previous sightings of perreticulata and subreducta and dubia in CA are misidentifications of P. jeckeri and P. nashii per Tucker and others. This clearly has the brownish underside of jeckeri. P. perreticulata apparently is not present west of the Ozarks.

P. perreticulata may have been used far too broadly in California, according to Lendemer & Hodkinson (2010, Lichenologist 42(4): 1-17).
