Observation 160277: Polyporus P. Micheli ex Adans.

Notes:
Small fungi growing on wood. Area was wet and limited light. This fungi is unusual in the fact that it does not display gills or tubes etc. The stipe was 3.5cm in length and the cap 6mm across. Only one specimen was found in the local area. I have also loaded three micrographs, although I could not say if they will be of any help. The images shown turned black when Melzers was used.
The lack of Gills or tubes may be because the specimen is immature? The micrographs are from a section of the pileus.
