Spore print

Very good that you got the spore print.
When freshly picked these mushrooms were fully grown and had bright yellow gills, suggesting white or yellow spore print. Brown spore print indeed brings them close to Galerina.

I’ll take a look at this one. Def. a Galerina. Another one of those G. badipes/cedretorum group/complex/strips guys on moss on the ground. The stipes blacken from the base, and can get quick black in age. I’ve got a few to look at from Pt. Reyes this past weekend.
