Caps up to 8.7 cm across.
Veil remnants on caps mostly flat.
Striations up to 5mm on largest fb.
Partial veil fragile and only seen on youngest of the 3 opened fbs.
Spores not amyloid.
Spores ~ 9.2-11.2 X 7.0-8.2 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid.
Q(ave) = 1.34
Could also be a pale form of A. pantherina.
