Strong penetrating briny odor (that I at first mistook for phenolic).

White parts of surface and context brownish in 10% KOH. Staining purplish red, though not intensely so, when cut in half, and fading again after 15 minutes or so.

Lamellae pink becoming dull chocolate brown.

Found growing out of clay/gravel walkway
