Notes:
Hello there,
I’m new to mushroom picking but am interested to learn and would really appreciate some help identifying this mornings find.
These where found on a golf course fairway. The weather was misty and wet but not cold.
If you can make out on the pics the gills are purple aswell as a purple edge on the cap. Also there is a purple frill on the stalk.
I’ve tried bruising them to see if I get a dark colour but with little success.

Used references: Arora, Mushrooms Demystified. Fungus has a stipe which swells from the cap to the base, slightly bulbous at base; cap frill may be remnants of veil; purple-black spores.

Recognized by sight: Something similar to what I’d call “Stropharia hardii” here in eastern North America.
