Jahnoporus hirtus?

I was told these were changed to Albatrellus hirtus, and that recently they are now Jahnoporus hirtus. This is the polypore with the velvety surface right? I don’t really know any details on why the genus names were changed for this species, I am just pssing on what I have been told about this one.
Jahnoporus is the name I use in the field, but when I get home and generate a species list the program I use calls it Polyporus hirtus. It then has to be changed by hand and it’s easy to overlook. Maybe the next version of NaMe will correct this!
