Observation 162898: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

Habitat: mixed conifer forest, primarily Pinus ponderosa (Ponderosa Pine) and Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas-fir)
Substrate: poking out from bark of rotting conifer log; conifer could be either of the above;
Cap diameter: 1-1.5 cm
Spore print: white
Mycelia, primordia, and young mushrooms growing between bark and wood. See 2nd photo, in which bark was removed.
