Growing on damaged Mountain ash tree. An atypical host for Pleurotus ostreatus, especially at 300’ elevation.

Sporocarp in hand. Could be contributing to my hay-fever.
Close-up of stipe (pseudostipe?), and gills. Sporocarp has begun to dry out already, the the edges of the gills have turned bread-crust brown.
