Understand. I am always open for comment/criticism. I try/endeavour to keep an open mind especially when friendly advice given. Thanks for the update. Appreciated.

to be generally untrusting of anything Alain proposes. He is 100% non-responsive to any insight/advice, whether via PM or comment, on why his collections of web links are not necessarily relevant to the observations he votes on.

OK, I think I have it. I will leave the voting as “could be” till a high vote is reached. Thanks Byrain.

I think Alain means that if you use a strong confidence level on names like Polyporales sensu lato or another sensu lato name it makes others have to vote them down in order to have propose a more specific name. If you’re just using one of those names as a starting place, “could be” would be appropriate. Voting higher on those names indicates that you think it might not possible to go farther, like say if the fungus is really hard to identify beyond being a polypore…

Hi Alain, I am a little confused by the voting. I thought I could update each vote and approve the “most likely” naming as the actual decided by vote numbers.
Are you saying that if I grade the votes in order of preference I then stop another person voting. Should I leave all nominated suggestions as " No Opinion" ? This seems to defeat the purpose of the votes and suggested ID?
Maybe someone can enlighten me please. kk

Reduced your vote for: “Polyporales sensu lato” and becomes free for many others possibillitee; FOR RECHEARCHE.

For the moment, and with my “POOR ENGLISH”,I want to said you something:
ONLY ONE MEMBER OF MO IS OPPOSATE FOR AN ID. Whithout proposal other ID.
Look at: http://mushroomobserver.org/25076?q=2IC92. realy similar.
