Notes:
Found this polypore in a park forest in central FL, growing alone on a damp tree stump. It is about 2 inches wide, beige with some dark brown edges/ ring pattern. Edges are pretty smooth, not ruffled. Pores do not bruise and are beige/ brown. Black threads coming off the mushroom attached it to the stump—no stem. Smells like dried edible mushroom and is pretty pliable still.
