Solitary, bright yellow, conical cap, yellow gills, white twisted stipe. Terrestrial, possibly on wood.


In situ.
Cap is yellow and conical, with whitespots especially toward the edges of the gills.
Stipe is twisted, 3.5 inches long (8.5 cm).
Gills are light yellow to creamy.
Gills are free to adnexed, a little waxy.
