Found many of these, all associated with Douglas-fir.

Images

In situ, just beyond moss layer. cap has pink and white patches of volva.
Cap 2 inches (5cm) across, pieces of annulus on edges of gills.
Gills are white, notched; annulus present.
Base of stipe has a cup-like volva.
Entire fungus 5 inches (10.5 cm) long.
