Observation 165083: Russula cyanoxantha (Schaeff.) Fr.

Pileus: 64-97mm, 11C2, 8B1-2, 2E4, 2C3, 13E3, purple margin, green center, convex to applanate, decurved, minutely bumpy, viscid when wet, radially rugulose, some white/yellow spots in center, broadly depressed; margin subdecurrent high on stipe, shallowly TS (5mm); context white, solid with some chambers, firm; odor none, taste mild; cuticle peels ½, purple under cuticle towards center; KOH
Lamellae: subdecurrent, 8 in 1 cm., subdistant, white, even, average breadth, soapy when rubbed, not breaking easily, lamellulae present; guaiac ++
Stipe: 33-56 × 15-18mm, white, central, MLR, polished, shiny, firm; context white, stuffed with chambers, stuffing turns brown in age, thick outer rind, coming to a point; guaiac +, FeSO4 -, PDAB
